Matthew Cardinaels, in a 1972 Datsun 240Z, has opened up a 48 second lead after Day 2 of Targa Tasmania in Shannons Classic GT.

Cardinaels leads Queensland’s Jon Siddins, also in a Datsun 240Z, with South Australia’s Craig Haysman, driving a 1979 Triumph TR7 V8, a further seven seconds back in third place.
