The husband and wife pairing of Jeff and Nerida Beable have totally dominated day two of Targa Tasmania and have established a comfortable one minute and 55 second advantage of their nearest rivals.

Driving a 2000 Nissan Skyline GT-R N1, the Beables extended their overnight lead in Budget GT Sports Trophy by 1m36s and look in full control.

Equal second after the day’s seven stages are Rob Olshack and Neysa Ellison in a 2010 Ford Focus RS Mark II, and Jordan and Debbie Bridge, in their 2004 Subaru WRX STi.

Adam Gosling and Ian Noble are still within striking distance in their BMW E87 130i, just 2m26s from the lead, while the top five is rounded out by the Lotus Exige S V6 of Martin Duursma and Richard Wodhams.
