Siddins on the pace after Day One

Defending Shannons Classic GT champions, Jon and Gina Siddins have made a strong start on the opening day of Targa Tasmania.
Driving a 1970 Datsun 240Z, they have opened up a lead of over a minute from Mick Downey in a Holden Torana, who has made an impressive start after finishing 10th last year.

“It was a bit slippery today, but so far so good,” Siddins said.

“We’ve got some good Dunlops on, so we’ll be right,” Siddins added.

Michael Bray in a Holden Torana holds third place.
