Targa High Country 2017 Course

The Targa High Country 2017 Course Map and V1 of the Reconnaissance Notes  and Supplementary Regulations are now available under the Targa High Country Tab.   


Leg 1)   After a short run down the mountain to get you in the groove, the field head to stages, Merton, Harry's Creek, Violet Town, and Galls Gap throughout the Region of Strathbogie.  The field will stop into the historic town of Euroa for lunch and closing with the first of two
 Mt Buller stages.

Leg2)  Sees the course head north to Whitfield and back through to the  
 Mansfield Street stage held on the Saturday afternoon, followed by TargaFest.

Leg 3)  The Courses heads down through Jamieson to Lake Eildon including Australia's 2nd longest Tarmac Rally Stage, the new for 2017, 48km Jamieson Stage back for one final 18km run up Mt Buller for a champayne finish on top of the world.

Targa High Country 2018 Street Stage

We have been exploring all options to ensure that it could continue to be, so with this now completed, we are also excited to announce that the Mansfield Street Stage will go ahead for the 9th time this year and will actually be 400 metres longer than the 2017 version. At 4.6km, it will now only be 200 metres shorter than the famous, George Town Super Street Stage.
