Rookies Of The Year 2018 Award Announced

Also forming an integral part of the new CAMS Australian Targa Championship, will be a Rookies of the Year Award, to be awarded at the Championship Dinner at Targa High Country.
The award will be judged by a panel of experts based on the performances of new Targa Competitors throughout 2018, with a key focus on not only their results, but their preparation, professionalism and the potential to with their respective Championship in the future. 
The award will be open to competitors across all eight competitions.

THE Far North’s main motor racing organisation, FNQ Motorsports Club, is heavily involved in Targa Great Barrier Reef.

Vice-president Trevor Thompson said it was an opportunity to showcase the club, which was restricted to dirt venues because of the lack of a tarmac circuit in the region.
