Targa Tasmania 2019 Entries now open

With the warmest Targa Tasmania ever held now successfully completed, we are already putting the plans into place for the 28th running of Targa Tasmania, from 29th April to 4th May 2019.

Next year will see the first of the `30th Anniversary Years’, with all competitors who win a Targa Plate in each of the next three years, also receiving a prestigious 30th Anniversary Targa Plate in 2021.

For those who have won the previous Anniversary plates awarded in 2011 and 2016, next year’s Targa Tasmania will be especially important as they start yet another journey, to join an elite club of Targa Tasmania winners.

The other exciting news is that the Celebration Dinner will return to Saturday night, 4th May with each entrant receiving two tickets as part of their entry and a more casual affair in line with what most of you now want. So, no black tie! More details will be announced once finalised.

Whilst it is still a long way off, please don’t hesitate in booking your accommodation and travel as soon as possible, with the very rare occurrence of Targa Tasmania and Agfest falling in the same week next year due to the lateness of Easter.

This will see us departing Launceston for Strahan on the opening day of Agfest, so we encourage you to at least book your accommodation in Launceston, if you haven’t already. Naturally, we are here to assist if you need any help.

Entries are now open for the 2019 Targa Tasmania with Early Bird discounts in place until September 8th.

We look forward to seeing you all again in 2019 at the World’s Ultimate Tarmac Rally.
