Targa High Country 2018 Street Stage

We have been exploring all options to ensure that it could continue to be, so with this now completed, we are also excited to announce that the Mansfield Street Stage will go ahead for the 9th time this year and will actually be 400 metres longer than the 2017 version. At 4.6km, it will now only be 200 metres shorter than the famous, George Town Super Street Stage.

To enable the growth of Targafest held in conjunction with the Mansfield Street Stage, whilst ensuring that the stage continues to meet international standards, a revised route has been designed that will see changes to how the stage runs through Mansfield itself. The start and finish sections will remain the same.

This will in turn free up the main part of Mansfield, to expand and freshen up Targafest, along with starting it earlier in the day and thus deliver a better festival for all those who attend. As for the stage itself, it removes some areas of concern in recent years and delivers to competitors, the trickiest and most challenging stage that has been run, along with lowering average speeds for the stage.
