10th Anniversary Targa High Country Opens for Entries

Targa High Country came to life on 5th November 2010, when 204 Targa cars descended on the streets of Mansfield for the first ever Mansfield Targa Stage.

Two days later on top of Mt. Buller, Kevin Weeks and John Allen went on to win the Modern competition by 20 seconds in their Lamborghini Gallardo and seal their place in Targa history.

Fast forward to 2019 and this year’s event becomes the second Targa event, to make its 10th birthday and what a birthday it promises to be.

We will see the return of a number of competitors who have competed over the years to relive their past glories and enjoy the roads once again.

The inaugural event entry total still stands as the record today, but this is sure to be broken this year, so don’t hesitate in getting your entry application in to ensure that you’re invited to a once in ten year party in Mansfield and on top of the world at Mt. Buller.

This year’s course will dish up a few surprises, but we can confirm at this stage that it will remain a three day event from 8th to 10th November

We are aiming to have the course out to everyone in the weeks ahead.

With new technical and sporting regulations coming in 2020, this will be an event not to be missed in celebrating ten fantastic Targa High Country events.

Entries are now open and Early Bird Discounts will close on Friday 28th June, so don’t miss out on the discount.
