With a high number of southern state competitors looking to make the journey to Far North Queensland for the second running of Targa Great Barrier Reef, we are excited to once again, announce a deal with national car freighter, CEVA to help get all of the amazing Targa cars to Cairns in time for the start on 30th August and home again post event.


Rates for Targa Great Barrier Reef 2019:

  • Bookings close Friday 20th July
  • Vehicles will need to be at the depot by no later, than Friday 9th of August to arrive in Cairns for collection in the week leading into the event. 
  • Return time frame is 17 days.
  • Vehicles from other destinations will be managed on a case by case basis.
  • Bookings can be made via http://www.cevacarcarrying.com.au
  • All bookings will be managed via CEVA

1. Economy movement is based on vehicles moving on open transport, being valued at no more than $60k and having a suitable ground clearance to get up the ramps. (minimum 11cm)

2. Premium movement is based on vehicles moving in an Enclosed transporter (stilling on an angle), being valued at no more than $100k and having a suitable ground clearance to get up the ramps. (minimum 11cm)

3. Prestige 1 movement is based on vehicles moving in fully enclosed RAPT trailer (sitting flat, hydraulic lift tailgate) being valued at no more than $200k ground clearance not an issue

4. Prestige 2 movement is based on vehicles moving in fully enclosed RAPT trailer (sitting flat, hydraulic lift tailgate) being valued at no more than $400k ground clearance not an issue

5. All cars must be drivable (starting instructions would be handy)

6. Cost is each way

7. Payment is required prior to transport

8. Movements are from a depot to a central Cairns delivery location

9. You or someone else must be in attendance to sign for the vehicle and go through the inspection survey. If there is no one present, there may be additional fees for the wasted journey, as we cannot do an unattended collection or delivery.

10th Anniversary Targa High Country Opens for Entries

The 10th running of Targa High Country, who would have thought! 

For years they said you would never get a true multi-stage Targa event up and running in Victoria, but after some solid work throughout 2009, Targa High Country came to life on 5th November 2010, when 204 Targa cars descended on the streets of Mansfield for the first ever Mansfield Targa Stage.
