Targa Tasmania is a unique event in that takes place on closed public roads, requiring temporary closures of up to four hours. We sincerely appreciate the patience and understanding of local residents and communities who make it possible for this unique Tasmanian event to continue.

Every effort will be made to reduce delays and ensure roads reopen as soon as safely possible, with most expected to open earlier than the advertised time based on previous years’ experience.
